Oncidium Sherry Baby in deliciously fragrant bloom!
I have had this plant for several years. It was crowded, unhappy, and needed repotting very much. This spring I divided it into 6 (3 to 10 bulb each) divisions. I also have a compot of multiple backbulbs (several have started new growths. In total, I now have 6 flower spikes on much happier plants! One major drawback to my diet; it makes me crave the fudge which I made in my store before my husband got relocated!

I've got one in spike right now, and it'll be my first time to ever smell a Sharry Baby! I'm inspired by your plant!

Love your pics! It looks like you might have the 'Velvet Maroon' variety?

I am not certain about the variety. It came from the Missouri Botanical Garden orchid show with the label Oncidium "Sherry Baby". No other information was on the label.

Reason: Mispelled orchid name.
