I do recommend this species - its been an easy grower and bloomer for me - it just gets huge FAST! Not only the sprawling rhizome, but each growth will get two new growths, so, in my case, I started with a 3 growth (One old growth, two new) division - the next year, it got 4 new growths, those four new growths produced 8 new growths the next year, and so on, and so on ... which is why I now have 3 big divisions of this now

I wonder if this plant needs low night tēs to flower well, because this t-drop is something I cannot provide. A lot of low tē-tolerant plants not only are tolerant regarding low tē but do need a chilling for inducing flowers.
I've read in other forums that this Miltonia can be reluctant to flower while growing like weed.
