Hello all , I repot my sherry baby about a month ago.
It had 10 bulbs and was severely pot bound to the point where there was little media left and all roots. I only repot it because I felt it needed moe media. The roots were great white and new active roots. Bulbs were plump.

I divided the plant in half. The plant portion that had the blooms blasted.

The part with the new spike , developed another spike.

I pot in half clay pellets and half bark, charcoal, perlite.

Now the older bulbs are dehydrating and I'm not sure about the roots because it's in a clay pot.

Should I soak it , I'm not sure what to do?
Before I repot in was in the promix type mix.

When you repot plants, the roots no matter how healthy they might look, may suffer a bit and takes time to "recover the shock".

During this time, keep the plant away from too much light and water well.
Not necessarily more often as this might make roots to stay too wet too long and cause problems, soak them for a while and allow the plant to really absorb water. Then drain very well.

I see that the ridges on the pb isn't that severe, so they will most likely go away with a few good watering.
Even if they do not disappear, it's ok as long as they do not get worse, in which case, it might suggest that something is going wrong with the roots.

Do worry too much and enjoy the growing spike.

Thank you!

I am super hyped about this spike and the second one forming in my care.

I will keep an eye on the pbs.
