Ain't it great! Twice a year! Mine has bloomed 4 times so far since Jan 2007 and has 3 new spikes now. I suspect it's do to the better fertilizer regime, but I'm not sure.

I just fed it what it wanted - 125ppm MSU mix regularly (Still do) and it just went crazy. 3 flower spikes right now and new growths besides. I am really thinking regular fertilizer (weak) and regular watering while in growth helps just about all these Oncidium class big boys to do their thing. Who knows? Ray? Any thoughts?

So Ross, I assume since it tends to grow alot & flowers often, you feed regulary. But how often?
I'm just making mental notes for when I get mine.
Todd, How about your feedings and your lighting?
Also, did you get your from paramount?

Beallara... Brassia x Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum...
I love them all so much and have sent many away to orchid heven since they take on more of the cooler intermediate growing conditions of the Odontoglossums. I grow intermediates & warm... http://www.orchidboard.com/community...milies/cry.gif
One of my favorites is Bllra Marfitch 'howards dream' which barely hangs on. Bllra Marfitch 'triple hilo lip' always seems to sulk & eventually give up in my conditions.
