If it were mine, I'd say full opening tomorrow, but yours has proven to be a little slow. Congratulations, it's not uncommon for spikes to blast when moved (ie bought).

Just wanted to give you all an update--all of the blooms have blasted, BUT it is sending out two side-spikes! I can already see new buds!

I bet those will be more successful and move along more regularly.

I really hope so! It looked like it was going to be gorgeous, and I was bummed that I didn't get to enjoy them

That's always the risk with transport of near blooming plants. My initial flowers (open when I got the plants) didn't last long. The subsequent ones are open now and look better. Though they're not going to last as long as a phalanopsis *lol*.

I have the same problem. Mine have been teasing me for days. They look a lot like yours too. Mine is a Rodricidium Apple Hollow X Rodricidium Maple Hollow.

I bought it in spike and the spike grew pretty quick but the flowers seem like they take forever to fully open. Maybe it is just me being impatient.

Default Update 5/11

Hi guys! Just wanted to update you all--it finally bloomed! I love it, it is gorgeous.

I know it will always be a NOID, but i think it looks similar to Tol. Genting Pink Lady. Since I got it Easter weekend, I've named it Easter Island

Hope you all enjoy!
