It depends a lot on the type Oncidium. In many cases the eyes are covered by sheathing bracts at the base of the pseudobulb.

Perhaps it would be easier if you could post some photos of the base of the pseudobulb that you are wondering about, and maybe someone can point the eyes out if they are visible in the photo?
