Oops I won a Tolumnia Genting Pink Lady. Female

I keep saying I have one - never mind the two I just ordered - then I remember I actually have two, the second is more of a micro mini.

My first - Buck Hollow x Sib - is bare root in a 2" clay pot, just as it came. Sorry if I'm repeating myself here but I tossed a few pieces of coconut coir to retain some moisture and try to remember to water or spritz at least every couple days. (I know I should water more, going to try to do better.) Got it last year in spike, now it's in bloom again.

The other one is in a tiny 1" clay pot in moss. I accidentally caused a growth to rot in the beginning then end of summer it grew a spike. Then set behind some bigger plants and forgot about it thus the spike died. Bummer since I've never seen it bloom! Now I try to water or spray daily or every couple of days. Its little new growth is doing well.

Both of mine I grow in really bright light. Last year, outside, they even grew in some direct afternoon light (which pushed the little guy to the brink of its light preferences but hey it spiked...).

Good job with yours, it's beautiful. What are your other Tolumnias?

Thanks for sharing.

Update!

The 2 new ones I bought are doing well one came in spike and the blooms are about to open any day now! I bought another little seedling with this one. It did not have a spike when I got it but I have one now!!! So excited. These 2 are mounted in spagnum moss. They gets lots of light. The leafs are a red color to them.

As for the first one I bought the one in the photos. Some of the blooms fell but some are doing good. The cool thing is it looks like I have a little shoot of new buds will have to get a photo of it.

These little plants are not hard to care for . Give them high light let them dry out everyday and water every morning. The temp is 80 during the day 60s at night. They seem to like it.
