Just had one of my rescue noids open up for me. This one has been a reliable bloomer for me over the years. Enjoy

It sure an oncidium but the lower petal really reminds Miltoniopsis. However it's beautiful blooming.

Yes, and the mottling on the petals reminds me of a zygopetalum. I think it's just a nice well rounded mutt .

Oncidium Wild Willie 'Pacific Bingo' I suspect... give it a google and see if it looks like your plant. One of my faves. Mine takes up far too much room on my orchid shelf, but I can't part with it. Mine is also fragrant.

Hmm, yeah that really does look just like it. Mine is more brown on the lip where most of the flowers shown in the search were more lavender, but I believe that can be affected by temperature.

Interesting. Thanks for the possible id.
