Warning, it is pretty, but I found its smell to be disagreeable. It was like melted plastic and pepper mixed together and it was moderately strong. I traded it out for a kingianum, haha

OMG really it was that bad? My Beallara is a Howard's Dream I am not 100% but it looks just like them. It has a light spicy smell not strong.

When people make hybrids they don't always think of the smell it will make i guess.

I am sure if I had a big house, I wouldn't mind, but my living space is a small dorm room and it was fouling the smell of my other orchids!!

And it took a few days to fully get to the smell. When I walked in my room, I thought I had to take the trash out or something, then I realized it was the plant. Boo!

But maybe not everyone will hate the smell. It isn't one of those smells that is disgusting, but it was just quite unappealing to me.

I have a brassia that has a light pepper smell, and that didn't bother me at all, but this one was bad and I am happy to forget it.
