Is oncidium wild willie "wonka" (or maybe "pacific bingo") fragrant?

Hey everyone!

I saw one of these at the store today, and I really found the leaves (edit: petals/sepals!!!) to be curious and interesting, but I didn't buy it. (hehe, went to trader joe's and found a dark paph in bud for $8 and bought that instead!!).

I can't really decide if it is Oncidium wild willie "wonka" or "pacific bingo" but maybe you can!

I have some gut instinct telling me that this particular orchid would be fragrant. I don't know why, but I am wondering if any of you can confirm/refute my hunch!

W/out a tag...you will never know for sure. Unless you can find the grower's info and contact them for a name...it will forever be a NoID.

Of course, there's nothing wrong w/NoIDs...they can be just as pretty as a named plant.

I know this is an old post so I don't know if this will be seen, but yes! That looks like the Wild Willie Pacific Bingo to me. I have one now and it is doing well and flowering. It has a lovely honeysuckle scent up close. I love it! See my post from May '23...
