Onc. Sharry Baby
I can't take credit for this one, I bought it in spike in december. I can finally take it off my wishlist! 1 spike is blooming, with 2 more on the way. I got lucky, I found it at my local garden center, with a name tag for once! It's a large plant too, about a dozen growths with some new ones starting. And it was a bargain!
The fragrance is just divine.

I've moved mine from the back room (where part of my collection lives) to the living room. Every time we walk past it we smell the wonderful sweet scent. A shame it's strongest in the morning, we only really get to appreciate it on weekends.
Hope your blooms for you again soon!! Any idea why it skipped a blooming?

Faint??
You must have had a bad clone, or you are hard of smelling.
I always had a headache and had to open the window.
Thank goodness it never flowered in the dead of winter.

Great photos!
Especially the second one really captures the radiant beauty this thing really is.

I really like my Sherry Baby. Good strong plants. I grow mine in water culture and haven't changed the solution for at least a month and a half while it was blooming (a lot of work if you have those spikes dancing around) Yours looks really nice. Great pics and glad you found a bargain. Mine was a box store rescue.

Very nice. I could never grow these. Always killed anything from this alliance.

I used to be the same and not many onc types survived very long in my care. Now I've learned that I was under watering them and I've had better luck since.

Underwatering could easily have been my issue. I was always afraid to rot them.
