I cannot take credit for this spike as this plant was shipped in wonderful condition with a nicely formed, looong spike. I have had this orchid for about a month and can't wait till they fully open. I am curious if more buds will developed as only two buds formed on a very long spike which has room for many other buds. I know this is probably from shock due to change of environment, but is it possible other buds will develop along the spike after these have bloomed?
