Default Onc. Rosy Sunset and Misty highland

I had previously posted a thread about nc. Rosy Sunset. The plant has finished blooming about a monthago. The spikes have remained green and pliable. there is new growth on both spikes. Am wondering if this plant is getting ready to re b loom on these spikes. Onc. Misty Highland. Very small plant with short leaves, am not able to locate a pseudobulb. Please look at photos on gallery titled Oncidium Photos and let me have your opinions and or comments on both plants. Thanks

Rosy Sunset

Misty Highland

As to the Rosy Sunset, I'm not sure what I should be looking at ? Oncidiums don't generally get new growth (new buds, keikis) on previously bloomed spikes. Some genera within the alliance can - Psychopsis, Tolumnia. I see the *remnants* (sorry, I don't know the word for this) from where the buds developed off the spike. But I'm not sure if this is what you refer to.

The Misty Highland - I can see psuedobulbs ... ?
There are some Oncidium alliance (again, Tolumnia, for one, at least) where the psuedobulbs may be hidden within the leaves, but that doesn't seem to be the case here - perhaps a photo from the side might be in order

I added your photos to your post, to make it easier for other members to see them, and hopefully be able to offer opinions/advice

I can't really see from your photos the regrowth you are talking about on Onc Rosy Sunset. As Sonya points out, Oncs usually don't rebloom or do anything from spent spikes. However, having a Rosy Sunset myself, I can tell you that this is one hybrid that seems a bit more prone to do just that. In my case a tiny subspike grew off the side of an old spike. It's not much, just one subspike that carried 5-6 blooms. I won't say it's a regualr occurance (I've seen it twice in the 6 years I've had my plant), but it does happen.

As for your other plant, a side photo would indeed by good to see. My small Oncs like that tend to have their bulbs buried in the center of the growth, covered by the leaves.
