Does Odontocidium need cool temperatures to bloom?
I was reading in an orchid book that Odontocidium 'Tiger Crow' can be induced to bloom with colder temperatures...I was just wondering if that is required in order for it to bloom? Because my windowsill never really gets that cold.
Your windowsill gets cooler than you think.
With that said, that particular plant you mentioned will bloom easily, unless you cook all afternoon and night heating up the house. lol
so no worries.
What I find with certain odontocidium hybrids is that they do not need cold to bloom but they just hate hot summer.
