Miltonia (Puna Cove 'Karen' x [Brazillian Rose x Candiada] Merry's Original'
I typed the tag exactly as I see it, but it is very faded and cut off so forgive me if I am mistaken on anything that might be obvious to others. This is one of two scraggly almost rootless divisions that I was kindly gifted from someone who picked them bare root out of a box and purchased at an orchid class. I am very very much a beginner with the Oncidium alliance so I potted it up and have been trying to care for it as I learn. My care can probably not take credit for the blooms, as the spikes started only about 2-3 weeks after I received it. Not a very brilliantly colored bloom, but I am enjoying them - something different in my collection
Thank you.

What a good start! I love oncidiums...they are easier for me than phals! Some of them can get pretty big.
Keep us in the loop...

Take all the credit you can! If your conditions weren't good, the spikes would have suffered in some way. Enjoy them and keep posting pix!

That's a very complex hybrid. Not brightly colored, but pleasing.
I think you probably got very close to interpreting that monster tag, but there is no hybrid called Candiada. The most likely correction for that is candida (a species). Just one L in Brazilian. Add the missing single quote. Then just a question of where to put the missing parenthesis...
Miltonia (Puna Cove 'Karen' x [Brazilian Rose x candida] 'Merry's Original')
or
Miltonia (Puna Cove 'Karen' x [Brazilian Rose x candida]) 'Merry's Original'
The first would be a seed grown plant, the second probably a mericlone of an unregistered hybrid.

Thanks everybody! And thank you PaphMadMan for the clarification and information, I appreciate it. I did feel dumb typing "Brazillian" but that is how the tag spelled it so I typed it lol. I think your second example is probably the right one, or at least what the tag is trying to say.

And who knows, subsequent flowerings could produce brighter colors!
Good growing!
