That is a wonderful clone. I like the clear color. Do you grow it intermediate or warm?

I grow my plant outdoors all year round. I find that it prefers the weather of winter and spring here. We have cloudy winter here and the average temp. is about 12-15°C and may sometimes lower to 5°C while the cold front hits. Summer and autumn which is averagely 28-34 °C are slight hot for this one and it tends to got fungal infections if there are too many showers in hot days.
But if your have greenhouse for your plant or it is not rainy often in which you live. It will be quite easy to grow this one.

Great chid Pheli! This is one of my favorites and definitely on my wish list. For anyone that doesn't know, this is one tough orchid. My brother's ex-girlfriend had one that grew and flowered almost non-stop. Her house was always stiflingly hot and dry, and the window it grew in wasn't that bright. I loved the flowers because they smelled like brown sugar (to me at least). Now if they had only stayed together a little longer, she was thinking about dividing it! Oh well, I guess their problems were more important than my orchid lust.

I do have Twinkle, a hybrid of ornithorhynchum, but it is currently under intensive care. I underwatered it and lost most of the roots , but it's got some new growths coming in so it should bounce back.

I'm still keeping ornithorhynchum on my list though because the flowers are bigger and have a stronger and different smell. Besides, why settle for one great orchid when you can have two!!
