oncidium sharry baby keiki?
About a month ago i noticed a little nubbin on top of an old pseudobulb and kind of didnt think anything of it but still kept an open mind about it (should've taken a picture of it then) and now it has grown a couple of teeny little roots and the noticable formation of leaves.
The picture doesnt show it too well but you could see the split where the leaves will take form and you could see a root tip in front. There os another one in the back.
Do oncidiums even produce keikis? I thought that was just phals and dens.

Oncidiums do produce keiki, but they can spike again off of back bulbs on occasion too. So, it's a question. It COULD be a keiki though. If it is, I think the same rules as phal keikis apply to it. Wait until the roots on the keiki are three to four inches long before removing from the mother plant and potting it up.

Cool, unfortunately i damaged the front root while i was repotting it, but the back one has grown much more so hopefully it sustains itself.

As long as it's not in bloom, you should be okay. Oncidium roots are finer and the roots on my Sharry Baby are almost as fine as the roots on my Twinkles, so it's really hard not to damage them during a repot.
It might slow down its growth for a bit, but it will be okay.

Interesting! It does appear to be a keiki, which isn't common for the genus, tho some Tolumnias keiki a lot.

Oh, no no no you missunderstand. I repotted the entire plant and in doing so i damaged the front root, but the back one is just fine and dandy.
Sorry about any confusion. Ill post a picture soon, the one i used here is from a couple weeks ago. And also to show that its still on the bulb.
