Really interesting, never seen this on oncidiums but definitely a keiki. Cool!

I have a brassia that did this. I left the keikis until they had roots 2-3 inches.

When I divided the mother plant, these tiny ones were attached. I tried to put a pic here to show them. I don't know if they will survive. I put them in moss in a tiny gladware dish that I customized with some holes for aeration.

I have some other keikis from the same plant that I potted up 2years ago. They are doing well.

They should be in the small pot in the foreground of this pic I am attempting to attach.
