Default Black Spots on Pseudobulbs

Hello everyone, wonderful forum you have here! Been doing a lot of reading through the threads when I had questions I needed answered and it has all been very helpful. Now I am at a loss though, I have purchased a new Oncidium and I just noticed these black spots on the pseudobulb, I can't recall if they were previously on it before I purchased it because I was in a rush as they were kicking me out the door to close XD. I have included a picture here so hopefully I will get a response shortly to ease my nerves. Thank you all!

Good Pic! If you wipe with a tissue, does anything come off? If yes, that would indicate bugs or mold. I know Onc. have a tendency to get spots, but in my experience that is mostly on the leaves.

It sure looks like a nice healthy pbulb!

There are maybe a total of 5 spots on the leaves all together. However I just tried wiping them like you said and none of the spots came off. Is that a too much light issue you think? I got her in a east facing window and she gets about 2-3 hours of filtered sunlight from around 9am to 11am-12pm. I have her on a humidity tray with a Miltonia and my Dracula lotax cause she tipped over and knocked over my Mendenhall Hildos and the tip to the first node from the top was broke off ='[, but all my plants are on humidity trays very close together so I think all her other situations are pretty up to par with what she needs.

As with any new plant, you should keep it isolated for a few weeks, just in case. Onc. Generally need a fair amount of dappled light. You should research the light requirements of each of your orchids to ensure that they are getting sufficient light to bloom. Of course if they are re-blooming - don't change a thing

Watch the mid-day sun since it can be quite strong. You can touch the leaves when they are in the sun and make sure that the leaves are not overheating.

I suspect that the spots are just what Oncidiums do. Maybe someone who know more than I do can chime in.

Well I live in an apartment building so theres only my 2 front windows that get sunlight so I'm pretty limited to where I can keep my plants. J&L Orchids (where I purchased them from) went over the conditions with me on all the orchids I purchased and they recommended the ones that I could purchase and grow. I will see how she does in the next few weeks, but she is already in spike and has many branches with blooms on them. I have been giving her 20-20-20 fertilizer once a week at 1/4 strength so hopefully she will boom beautifully.

Also thank you very much for your wisdom and speedy responses! It is very much appreciated to a beginner like myself =D

I think it is just normal Oncidium spotting. But keep an eye on it and as mentioned, isolate it for a while to make sure no pests came with it.

Well as far as isolating goes, I'm kind of stuck as the window she is in is the only one of two windows that gets light, the other window has my AC unit in it. I could isolate her to my computer desk but I do not think she will get any light and if it is then I can't see it being sufficient enough =/

No worries, many ondontocidium or other intergenerics will have this ( either a few specks or quite often covering the entire surface almost!) on their pbs.

The kind of marks you should worry look very different. These "natural" markings are on the very outer layer of the tissues on the pbs.
Sometimes you will see disease marks or brown rots, which usually look water soaked or deep-seated by visual inspection.
