Thanks everybody! It definitely looks like all the Bratonia Shelob pics I've seen. I'm so happy to have it and it looks like such a happy healthy plant but then within a day or say one of the spikes started to die off (well the flowers)!!! (That's why they looked sort of pinkish.)

The other spike appears to be alright but it happened so suddenly I can't say I'm not worried. It happened before I watered it. I've been thinking maybe it's in shock adjusting to my environment and all...? Then I thought well maybe that spike was the older of the two however my experience with Orchids thus far limited but relevant, is that when the spikes "die off" from "old age" it's not so sudden. Rather they sort of take their time, flower by flower, whereas on this guy they all but the end flower turned pink, flower petioles yellowed and they died. The end flower did end up dying and now it's just the end three hanging their dead. But again, the other spike SEEMS to be okay.

Normal aging of the blooms, I think. The discoloration is happening to one of my spikes now. I have two more spikes that are getting ready to put out buds now. It seems to me like this plant blooms a lot once it blooms, so if you have developing pseudo bulbs, spikes are probably not far behind.
