Question Have a Brassia who's buds are drying up

I am concerned about my Brassia in bloom right now. It set spike about 3 weeks ago and has formed buds but now it looks like the buds are drying up and withering before being able to open. Is there something I can do or should be doing?

I have the Orchid under 2 fluorescent lights, it gets watered about once a week and misted once a week as well. The room in which it is in stays warm and has pretty good humidity. Usually about 50%. I usually try to feed with an Orchid fertilizer once a month but haven't for a while.

Any tips or suggestions would be so helpful!
Thanks!

I apologize, moved to Cattleya, like dahhhh ...so it finally found it's thread home.

I don't know to much about Brassia's but I know they like to remain on the moist side as well as they react well if they are in bark and the fertilizer has a high nitrogen level.

They need fairly good light to help regular blooming which is generally annual. In the spring or early summer months shaded from the bright summer sun but good light in winter.

Can't say much when it comes to raising them for myself but now that it made it to the right alliance I am sure others have experience in growing spider orchids.
