Psychopsis Mendenhall "Hildos" fragrant? Female
Default Psychopsis Mendenhall "Hildos" fragrant?

I just noticed that my Psychopis seems to have a very faint pansy (or is it petunia, I never can keep them straight in my head) like scent. I have seen elsewhere that these are not fragrant, so is mine an oddball?

Nope, your flower is not an oddball....I never cut the spike since it bloomed and gave me three flowers every 4 months so far....for me, it has that slight smell of watermelons.

Thank you for the response. I have had this for two years, and I guess I never stuck my nose close enough to it to notice before.
