Odontocidium Sunlight 'Pesky Panther'
Default Odontocidium Sunlight 'Pesky Panther'

This is my newest find from TJ.
I was walking by the store and saw this one by the window. I ran into the store and grabbed it.

It is one of the plants on my wishlist, and there it was!
In such great shape and low price, and even the leaves were spot free! I am so happy!!!

The plant is rather smallish, which is great for me, but the spike is very very tall, which is why I am posting a picture showing only part of the whole thing.
I think it shows the flowers nicely. I love the bright yellow accent on dark spotted flowers.

I have a smaller version of this hybrid named Odontocidium Sunligh 'NN', which basically looks the same, except the plant is slightly smaller and the spike (and the flower count) is much much smaller.
But its fragrance is much much better and stronger.
It is now spiking for the third time for me in the three years I have it.

Very very nice looking! The cross breeding of the two look quite astounding.

This plant has its pbs almost entirely covered with dark markings. It seems response to strong light as well, because there are much more on one side that gets the light while the opposite side of pbs has much less.
