Psychopsis mendenhall 'hildos'
I just stopped by seattle orchid's showroom and growroom and peeped their P. mendenhall 'hildos'. I had to pick up a 2 spike plant. I've never seen Psychopsis this big... they had one tray of 2 spikes, one tray of 1 spikes and one tray of no spikes. All of these specimen easily had at least 2 large pbulbs and a few smaller ones and with 6-7" leaves. This morning the bloom started opening and this orchid has quickly become one of my favorites-holy crap is it impressive. I really encourage you anyone who is looking for this plant to look at seattle orchid's stock they are nearly specimen size. I will post a picture when I get back from work today.
