so after 4 days of going through the hell with unreal cold weather in South Florida my chids are back at the balcony. There will be some that will go to orchid heaven unfortunately but I hope not many. On the good note, some during the boxed stage open the spikes and bloomed and some even grew new spikes.
This baby was growing it's spikes inside the leaves for probably quite some time, I did not see it unfortunately till last month when wondering why it did not bloom for months, and found 3 spikes grown to the leave. I could not save 2 but the third one I was able to remove, It did not grow longer but it did finish production of the buds and opened, and there is another spike already growing:-) Pretty small blooms.
