IcePenguin, would love to see the pictures of your bloom and the color:-)

What a jewel. Won't take my cooler temps, though.

Just discovered my buds blasted!

I've had so many plants showing flower spikes but almost every one of them blasted their buds...it's frustrating!

Ohh, Yeri, so sorry to hear! It never happened to me with this one, not sure if it is our constant high humidity maybe? I hope it will spike for you soon again!

Do not cut the spike. After mine blasted, it formed new buds lower on the same spike.

I keep it moist but I'm always worried that the roots may be rotting under the sphag.

Hmmm well I'm used to putting the roots on top of the sphag, but this one came from Ecuagenera with the roots underneath and I didn't touch it.

Maybe that has to do with it! But my plants looks as healthy as can be...

I think it's more related to the small space I have and not enough fresh air coming in. I've had about 5-10 spikes over the last 2 months forming up and losing their buds

Also, I have a bigger fan that's blowing probably to hard on the plants. I mean to change to 2 smaller rotating fans on top and bottom of the greenhouse, but I haven't got round to buying them...terrible!

Mine is from Ecuagenera as well and I did leave this one as it came, sphag over the roots, not that I like it and I did change many after getting them like this, but it seems like it works for this one, however as I said, I do not water every day, I let the sphag dry little before waterings!

I will try this...but the plant itself is doing great, there just seems to be a bad spirit focussing on all my buds

I like it it is a cute one. If I hear warm to hot I don't have to worry about it like Rosie it will never work for me so I don't have to give it another thought.
