Yeri, yes, slightly, the moss keeps the moisture, so I do water whenever it dries out little, but not completely dry:-)

Thank you Bud, it is tiny and cute, but still bigger than the spike from Lepanthopsis astrophora:-) It is true that the mini's always look great on the pics though, where you can see more details than with your own naked eye as you said:-)

Mine has 3 spikes, two of which already blasted once. More buds formed and am impatiently waiting for the blooms.

I, too, have to water everyday. Letting it dry caused the bud blast.

I've had mine about 4 years. The coloring on mine is more a purplish pink. Maybe being up north it only blooms for me once a year in late summer but ill take it. And you described it exactly right; like little fireworks.
