Nothing especially rare or spectacular, but a reliable bloomer for me and a very vigorous grower.

Nice tall bloom spike this year, desperately needs repotting asap

Simply one of my favourite orchids. Easy to grow, tolerant of everything and, (I think), quite striking blooms.

Very nice! I have several of these too. The blooms last real long which is another bonus!

That's a nice flower! You are right about the ease of growing on these. They tolerate just about anything and continue to grow and bloom.

Usually I get two spikes, the first in early spring, the second in mid-summer.

This year however it started a spike in early spring that just kept growing and growing. And growing. Not sure why exactly, but this year it decided to put out one mega spike instead of two sensible-sized ones.

I couldn't believe the size of the spike compared to the size of the plant as it was growing, just crazy. It doesn't reach for the ceiling so much now as all the blooms have opened, weighing it down considerably.

Do the spikes in the spring and in the summer come from a different growths?
I read how Wildcats grows fast and flower twice a year, but mine is rather slow.

Mine so far have always come from two different growths. Each year it gets two new nice pBulbs and each one flowers, staggered one after the other. Up until this year at least, I have a second mature growth that I expected to flower, but so far bupkiss.
