Default Thanksgiving miltoniopsis

Last thanksgiving, I gifted myself with a new miltoniopsis. Safeway always sells them and I just had to get one. This is my favorite genera of orchids. I love the color of the leaves and the fans and of course the flowers. This has a rich and velvety dark purple flowers.

yup they need a little attention when it comes to watering and repotting and once you get familiar with their growth pattern, it is so much easier! and their flowers are very unique and fragrant!

It's on display right now I'm just keeping it moist cause the air is a bit dry because of the heater but its doing ok and the remaining buds are developing. My other two have tons of growth. They are slow growers though.
