my new Oncidium Tigrinum Male
Default my new Oncidium Tigrinum

this is another plant that is found in Mexico, Flowers are very large, apologies for the flowers that are almost over.

i got this as a present yesterday at my orchid meeting, i saw a few of them last month, and told one of the growers how much i would like to have it and in this meeting he came with this really nice present!.

here is a pick.

just below is a leaf of an adult C. lueddemaniana, might serve as reference of the size of each flower

next year i will show the blooms without the "decay" aspect you can see in pic above .

Also SMELLS REALLY GOOD, even when the spike is dying, there is still a faint smell coming from it. when in full bloom they produce a strong wonderful perfume.
