Ha!

I had an Oncidium addiction (still love them!) - but many turn into monsters before long, so I try to restrain from getting anymore

I am trying but I know that I will continue getting them. Because their flowers are so dang pretty. I also have a thing for spots, because they are not always readily seen in other plant species. Such as roses. They are just different, and do well in this climate, warm bright, not severely cold.

Nope. You cant I love the way they look and flower. Do they need a drastic temp drop as well to bloom, we had a cold front come in and will stay for a min week tonights low 50* (all gramms, schom, dendrobium warmer needs plants have come in for the night) and stay in low to mid 50*s for the rest of this week highs in the 80*s. My oncidium are in a window with a slight crack for added air flow and heavy curtains so they have had high humidity. My African violets have re bloomed in the opposite window sill same conditions.

GAH! Could Tuesday get here already?!

I also did not realize they were my 3 oncid, and Catasetum were all from Shermantp (Big Oak Orchids?) on ebay so I was ordering them all separately and they emailed me saying that if I was going to buy several at once I could wait for them to invoice me and they could save me on shipping. I was like omg how blonde can I be and not notice they are all the same seller and one of my FAVORITE SAVED SELLERS!!! Bahahahahaha College kid brain is a dangerous and embarrassing thing to deal with lol. Especially when the seller emails you and says You could save some money if you let us send you the invoice. LOL!
