I love the brassias also but just don't have the room for them. Congrats on your flowers, Matt! They're lovely.

Thanks Tommy and Picotee. This is the only one I have because it is large. Don't get me wrong, I am glad I have it, but like you say, I don't have the space for any more.

I will, but for now, a bloom picture from July this year.
From top to bottom, it is around one foot.

I got an orchid several days ago which I paid more than my normal amount for and I think it is a Bob Henley. The leaves looked a little like they had frost bite on them, maybe had been outside when it was cold. I looked at them today, and they looked slightly worse. Of course, reacting before thinking, I grabbed the scissors and trimmed off the tips of good leaves and the dead leaves, thinking that I could tell if it was diseased and spreading, or just came from an unhealthy environment ( it was right by the back door of the store). I should have left them on and taken a picture. I can still post a pic on the leaves. Any one have any ideas?

Hi charitysmama, I saw your picture. That shows a lot of leaves not on the plant. Does the plant still have leaves? My plant does not have a lot of leaves. In fact it has only seven leaves but they are very long leaves--the longest being almost a foot and half. Since my plant finished blooming it now has two developing p-bulbs. The leaves you pictured appear to be the result of many problems. The is a plant that thrives in bright light, warm temperatures, and humid, warm, fresh air.

I trimmed off those, but there are still about 2 times as many on the plant. I was afraid it might be a virus or something, although I originally thought the plant might have gotten frost bite or whatever they get if they get too cold. It has 4 healthy looking bulbs and two baby bulbs. I can post a pic of the bulbs if needed. I imagine that pbulbs is pseudo bulbs. How do they differ from the regular bulbs?
