Great plants you are waiting for!
I love all those you listed.
Well, I think there are a lot more hybrids in oncidium/odontoglossum family that you should really watch out before flooding your house with them. lol
I love African Violets too! very low maintenance and high performing plants!
I no longer have them since they always bring thrips into my collection. had hard time getting rid of the bugs.

African Violets will bloom year around as long as they are kept at temperature between 75-68F.
Too warm or too cool, they stop flowering.
Also, correct light is important.
Under strong light, leaves scorch or the whole thing gets stunted.
Too little light, no flowers, leaves get leggy.
Then you are set!

Well that explains it. I totally get what you mean when you say "leggy" mine look like that! Sounds like I should definitely be considering moving them. I think I will just get them a plant stand and move them closer to the window in the room they're in.
I thought they needed more filtered light and we had a heat wave at around the time they stopped blooming and set the thermostat at 80 degrees, so that we didn't get a huge bill from the power company.
That combined with the fertilizer… explains everything! I'll post pics when I finally get these guys to bloom again. Wish me luck!

I agree with Ron...as you discover new orchids, your interests often will change.

Thanks. They are enjoying themselves. We had pretty high winds yesterday and my bellarea is in a net pot then in a terracotta one to hold it up it is so top heavy. It went flying out of my window.....shattered the pot and one of the phulbs separated from the other two...always an interesting day at my house. My new dog is not quite sure why they get to come in and he doesn't.... he is hip high to me,weighs 105lbs and tail is about 16 inches long lol!!

Just wanted to come back here and offer an update and a THANK YOU! NYCorchidman, one of my african violets has a bud on it again, thanks to your suggestion of moving them to a higher light location. I have them growing on a plant stand in an east facing window!
The other, I think has a few suckers in it, so I'm going to have to take it out and repot it and see if I can get those suckers to take root. I wouldn't mind having a plant stand full of african violets in that room.
