NOID housewarming gift + 1 for me
Going to a housewarming party on Friday so I decided to check out what TJs had in the way of plants. I found one that looks so much like a silk plant that I had to get it because I thought it so interesting. But it's not really my style, so it will be the housewarming gift, and found one yellow one for me! It's a bit bedraggled, but I really like the flower and I've had good luck with my Burr. Nelly Isler so I'm hoping I'll be able to grow this thing well. Gotta love TJs $7.99 orchids.

Yup TJ's has really good price for oncidium intergenerics. I also go there once in a while to check their selection and usually, you'll find a keeper that's why i have to keep myself from going there too much lol

Uh oh. I've repotted them both in LECA this morning (their 2" pots were choked full with roots), and now I'm getting attached to the pink one . . .

That is so funny! It does get easier to gift orchids the more it is done. The first time is the hardest. I think orchids make the perfect gift!

I was good and gave it away. And in the end, I am happy with how the yellow one looks near my blooming Burr. Nelly Isler without the competition of those pink flowers. So it worked out. No giver's remorse.

Way to go. I would love to receive a gift like that
Here's a question though: where does TJ's get their plants?
