bought this from hausermann's. was excited to see it in flower cause it wasn't on the description! it was a nice surprise. I think the intensity of the red coloration depends on the intensity of light. the buds were a little crushed but when i put it under lights and 3 hours later it bloomed!

So pretty! Love those little tolus! Being lucky enough to live by Hausermann's (don't be jealous - other than Hausermann's, Chicago's an orchid desert) I've gotten two in the last 2 months. You should see their tolumnia table - a mass of "butterflies"!

I don't think I have watering down, though, seeing brown leaves a couple times. I know they need to dry out, but their little pots are so tiny, they dry out before you blink!! Here's my Tequila Sunrise and Genting Sunray.

oh wow that would be nice to see a table of tolumnias! I was torn between tequila sunrise and genting volcano but i went for the latter. I only bought one cause i want to make sure I can keep it alive first. I'm watering it 3 times a week. yours are beautiful as well!!
