I'm pretty sure this is the correct name for this psychopsis. I got it in Homestead, but the tag did not have any species info on it at all, and the people working at the nursery didn't know which psychopsis variant this was at the time, since it wasn't in bloom.

There's another bud forming just behind this flower already in the picture.

Oooh you're going to have two flowers at the same time, how nice!
I have a Mendenhall 'Hildos' and only get one flower at a time. I really like those "Aliens". lol

The spike is pretty long..probably 4 ft or so

I don't think my plant was mature enough to keep two flowers at once until recently, when it put out several branches on its spike. Happy with the results.
