Default Ionopsis satyrioides

This is a tiny plant that grows in the wild in Central America, Caribean and North of South America, including Brazil. Less showy than some of its sisters, like Ionopsis paniculata, or utricularioides, it has its own charm anyway.

That's adorable! How big are those blooms...and how big is the plant itself?
Thanks Mauro

Susanne, the flowers are 0,28" wide and the plant is not higher than 4". Cute, ah?

Amazing. I love this one. Does it require rest? And I am assuming warm growing, part shade?

Very sweet
I like this one especially the subtle lavender veining on the white petals and the spot of sunshine at it's center ..
Charming, indeed

Tindo, I don't give any rest and yes, it is mainly a warm grower, but has adapted well to our cold winters here in the south (with protection against the cold winds anyway). What is really important for it to grow well is bright light and free roots.
