i have seem a good share of Psychopsis papilio, and the alba forms i have seem are usually smaller than the big brothers (normal types), also , there seems to be a big variation of sizes, not sure if it is related to growing conditions and or plants genes.

lov the form of yours. really nice.
Antonio.
Thanks both of you. Antonio, the flowers measure approx 6 inches long by 4 wide...I have the regular form beside it on a shelf and it is in flower and approx the same size, maybe slightly larger. I am pleased as I have killed 2 psy while learning how to grow.been 2 years since my last victim
you really have a good Papilio there. i need to get one soon, i tend to spend most of my orchid budget on new angracoids and Cattleya species, and forget about this great species, but next budget cycle i will make sure i get one.
i love the trait of frequently being in flower , i do know of someone that has one (specimen sized plant) that never stops blooming( i think his is an hybrid )
