I bought one of these gorgeous guys this weekend. It is in bloom at the moment. Please could you give me some care advise, I have phals and paphs - so an orchid with pseudobulbs is something totally new to me. Thanks so much :-)

I like oncidium twinkles. I used to have yellow, white, and red, yellow being my favorite!

You can grow them the same way you do with your phals and paphs.
Place them somewhere very bright. Oncidiums take more light than phals and paphs generally do. I grow almost all orchids pretty much the same way and all do well. Under high light short of burning the leaves, the flowering will be the best.

Water your oncidium well. Soak it good each time like 15 minutes or so, and then drain well, water again when the pot gets light (dry but not bone dry).

At the moment, yours is in bloom, so you don't have to expose it to good light, but give it half day sun in the morning if you can because with the warm and sun in the early part of the day, the fragrance will be the best.

This small plant will grow quite fast making a cute specimen plant with tons of flowers for you.

Enjoy~

Thank you for the info! It is such a cute little plant. Seems to be really pouring out of the pot. I am sure it will need to be repotted quite soon, but will leave it be for the time being.
