You still need import permits for any other orchid (unless it is smuggled)
Nice blooms by the way!

Andy's Orchids is located in Encinitas California and he advertises here on Orchidboard. If anyone has it or can get it he can. And he and his brother are incredibly knowledgeable. Find a nursery in Boston and have Andy ship it there.

Looks gorgeous! Can you share the growing conditions? I have been trying to get my tolumnia sylvestris bloom for two years now.

Honestly, I don't do much special with any of my Tolumnias, but I do understand how difficult they can be.
I give all of them as much light as they can take. I'm not happy until I see some slight purple coloration in them. During the winter I water in the morning and have them in a southern window that has an old pin oak tree giving some shade through the day.
Once it's mid-60F, I move them all outdoors. I water them only in the morning unless it is over 100F. But they must be able to be dry by nightfall.
This one is mounted, but all my others are bare root in clay pots with a tad of horticultural charcoal.
I use a balanced fertilizer on them weekly since they are for all intents and purposes mounted. I actually think I would be better off fertilizing every other to third day though.
I hope that helps!!!
