A few in bud and spike
Default A few in bud and spike

The first set of three pictures is of Tolumnia Genting Orange. I didn't take very good care of it last year (sever drying) and the new fan (then) didn't spike.
Since then, it's been growing two new fans, both of them qute small with only two leaves. and one of them spiked earlier this year and now I see about six buds on it. Just today as I was taking this to the sink to water, I noticed another one is also spiking. Yay!!!

The next one, I can't remember the long name off the memory, but an oncidium hybrid with red spotted flowers, is spiking. It is quite thick and I look forward to when it blooms. It looks nice in bud than in bloom. Buds look very waxy and pink. Quite something to watch.
It last flowered in October.

Miltoniopsis is spiking. It was stuck in between leaves and bent when I "discovered" it last week. Good thing that I found it was even there.

The second from the last one is "mule year" type. I think it is Maui Gold.
The new growth is larger than any of the older growths and it makes me proud!
I'm looking forward to the bloom on this one as it is supposed to get quite nice as it gets older. It last flowered in September. It is very fragrant.

The last one is Tolumnia Popoki Mitzi.
This is also one of those that suffered sever underwatering and skipped flowering last year. It did grow nice large new fan last fall but didn't flower. This large new fan grew thick but short growth that stopped growing at two leaves. Then I saw this thick spike emerging off this one. and hola~
It looks pretty good with 13 buds and 4 branching side spikes. Yay!!!!
