Default Trichocentrum albococcineum 'Peru' CHM/AOS


This is a lovely miniature species from the Amazon basin in Peru. This particular plant is the solid colored lip form and was awarded on Sept 15,2007.

It is mounted on cork. When I first bought it (bareroot) after it had been imported, I put it in a pot with a bark mix. It didn't seem happy with that and it was going downhill so I mounted it. The plant loves it and is growing quite vigorously.
