Default Oncidium blooms

Oncidium hybrid
Smells delicious , purchased 2 and half weeks ago.
South facing window, roots look great.
Watered twice , trying not to over water.

How does she look .
Does have black spots and tiny holes.
The blooms are different colors, I dont know why thou?

Looks nice. I wouldn't be overly worried about the leaves, most oncidium intergenerics have spots and things going on with the leaves.
I would keep an eye on the plant being in a south window, might be getting a tad too much sun if right up against the glass this time of year.

I have this same one...
It smells lovely till you get up close.
Then it smells like cat piss.

The colour change is normal.
It starts more orange and slowly hours more purple and pink

Thanks for the replies.

I do have a little mold by the bamboo sticks where the medium is.

Actually the purple blooms opened first , and the brownish ones just started to open. If its the same plant , I was curious to know why the blooms were different colors.

Sorry.... it's been a while since I've seen it in bloom...
Don't remember what order the colour change went in....
My bamboo sucks all go slightly moldy... I just ignore it. It never causes harm.

I'm not sure... it was bred to change colour over its bloom span.
It's also prone to colour variations depending on the conditions it's grown in and blooming in.

They look like Rosey Sunset and they are rather orange brownish when first open, then gradually turn light pink.

I had a big one last year with lots of spikes. loved the fragrance!

Thank you but, what I'm trying to say is that it has 3 bulbs . One bulb has two spikes that have the brownish color. The other bulb has one spike with the purple and the other one has no spike. This is why I felt it was unusual.

Did all the flowers open around the same time? If so, then the color variation is strange, but plants do crazy things at times I guess. lol
