Default Tolumnia (Seka x Sensation)

This unregistered cross was made by Robert Perreira of Kaneohe, Hawaii. I was fortunate to receive a compot of this cross from the Perreira's. The seedlings from the compot are beginning to bloom with many different designs, shapes and colors. This is one of the better ones. I grow my equitants in a mesh pot with no media. The plants are grown under cover protected from the rain. The photo below was taken with my iPhone.

The photo below gives a perspective on the length of the flower spike for this plant. The spike is 19 inches tall. This is the first bloom. I expect more flowers on future blooms.
