I can safely report the same. I'm also the one (well there could be others!) who is growing a tolumnia in sh. My success has been mixed...the plant has sprouted many new fans but I wasn't careful when watering from the top and a few got crown rot. Now I'm more careful and increased the light and the plant is growing larger and more robustly.
Most of my tolumnia are in those small clay pots but I weave long strand moss around their old and existing roots and the new roots grow right for the moss. I live above 6500' and struggle to keep these plants hydrating using traditional, no moss methods.
Btw I love your name! Huge fan of the character from game of thrones with the same name. Is that why you chose it? Or did you have it before the books?!
