I bought this last November in spike from Cal Orchids in Santa Barbara. It bloomed, I wasn't very impressed, smaller flowers than those on the plants in bloom at the nursery, and they didn't last long. I popped it out on the back patio where it started sending off a very hearty new growth. Then one day that growth got a bit streaky looking and started flopping over, I thought I was going to lose it. But it perservered and the pseudo bulb ended up being larger and more robust and the leaves bigger and healthier than the last growth. It spiked this summer and began blooming about a month ago and is still going strong. What even amazes me more, I smelled it today and it has a faint but very appealing fragrance. i didn't know Odontoglossum hybrids had a fragrance. The first pictures were from late September when it started blooming, the last pictures were taken today. Enjoy
