Default Brassidium with no signs of root development

I recently repotted a brassidium. I trimmed all of the rotted roots (not leaving many healthy ones left) and put into the smallest pot I could fit it into. I potted with clean fir bark/perlite/charcoal mix. It has been a couple of weeks (like 3 weeks) and the plant is still wobbly and I see no signs of root growth/development. What should I do?

A couple of thoughts. First try to stabilize the plant with a stake or clip. This will help newly emerging roots to establish themselves. Sometimes, I use a piece of covered florist wire around the pot and across the base of the plant to security hold it in place just be careful that it doesn't cut into the plant. This works especially well with smaller pots.

Next, try using from seaweed extract, KLN, SuperThrive or equivalent to boost the root growth. It may take a little while as this is not typically the time of year for growth. If the plant is in danger of becoming dehydrated, try creating a high humidity environment with a plastic bag.

Above all, have patience.

Is there new growth? If so, how big? New roots will only come from new growth, and only when that new growth has reached a certain size.

You will need to be patient then. Try to keep plant humudand warm.
How big us this plant? Oncidium alliance can be extremely resilient! Existing pbulbs will shrivel, but hopefully can sustain the plant until there is new growth getting roots. The more pbulbs it has, the better.

I agree that you MUST make the orchid stable, in it's container. Do that, and by all means be patient. I also like Super Thrive; especially for root development. In time it will surely reward you with beautiful blooms! BettyE

I agree with all that has been said, use of heat, stabilize, rooting hormone, etc... Best of luck!!! Just don't give up. I have had two orchids that suffered tragic root lose from this alliance, and while recovery has been slow, they have rewarded me after a year with some great looking new growths!
