Default Onc. alliance inter-generic No I.D.

(suggested possible I.D. - Aliceara Sunday Best 'Ontario' - does look quite similar)

Got this in '08 at Trader Joe's. Grows like a weed. A bit frustrating in that despite growing like a weed, I seem to only get one blooming spike annually, around this time of year. This past spring-summer, things seemed to be looking up, as it got a few spikes, but all aborted Perhaps it doesn't like heat much ??? This time of year, I'm pretty sure it doesn't get sufficient light for new spikes - I just don't know where else to put it

Anyway - it's blooming now ...

Thanks for looking

Regardless, it's lovely! Enjoy it. I've got a few Trader Joe's one in spike now too. They grow well, but spike only once per year. I'm just going with it

Beautiful flowers, Sonya. Wish I had room for some of the cooler Onc. intergenerics.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, ine spike is definitely better than none. It just annoys me that there's only one (blooming) spike a year out of all that new growth. Maybe next year ...
