Default Miltonia flavescens

This Miltonia is common in the southeast region of Brazil. It is also found in Paraguay and north Argentina.

Beautiful flowers. I have seen several images in situ of this species on the internet. They seem a dominant epiphyte there.

It is quite common in sunny places, Pheli. When was visiting Argentina the children there (north of Missiones Province) cut off the flowered pseudo bulb (only one) to sell to tourists. At least, the entire plant was left on the tree and can always put out a new growth from a back eye!
