Thank You, Kevinator!
Psychopsis is in the Oncidium alliance according to this forum’s classification; what you are thinking is doable…but I think there is already a Psychopsis and Oncidium cross; but the name escapes me maybe Philip will know....
Thank You, Daenerys !!!!
Just be patient, the bud will open in time….watering is personal….trust your instincts on this and wait patiently…. Jonada advices us not to be scared with watering this plant.
Thank You, silken !!!!
If you invest on a small cheap portable heater; your warm growing plants will survive the winter….

Thank You, Ray !!!!
I am glad you posted the story about your plant. We now know that this kind is tenacious and can survive even if you forget it and leave it alone; yet in a GH environment it will always have a chance of survival.
Thank You, Jonada !!!!
Right, watering this plant can be quite tricky….my experience with it is: it gave me oedema on the older matured leaf when I was overwatering it….I just cut the affected area and did the saucer technique and it works for me.

This is beautiful!! I recently got an albino psychopsis that recently opened two yellow flowers. This is my first psychopsis, so I'm especially excited! Thanks for sharing these awesome photos!

Love this one Bud. The roundness of the lip is awesome. Also, the upright leaves are great! I've got two psychopsis (not Hildos) and the leaves take up a ton of room. I wish they grew upright like yours. Well grown - thanks for sharing.

Thank You !
You can train the leaves to grow upright....by using a cache pot that is at least two inches taller than the pot planted in....it will seem buried lower
